Music Ministry

Handbell Choir

The Handbell choir meets from 6:15pm-7:00pm each Wednesday from September to June.

Our church has 4 octaves of Malmark Handbells and Handchimes. We enjoy great fellowship during our rehearsals, and try to play once per month. You do not have to read music to play with this group, although it does make it easier. Anyone that is interested is encouraged to give it a try!

Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir meets each Wednesday from 7:15pm-8:30pm, and on Sunday mornings at 10:30. They lead in worship each Sunday and offer other special services throughout the year. There are no Wednesday evening rehearsals in the month of July. This is a wonderful and close group within the larger church family. You do not need to read music to be a part of the choir, and all are encouraged to give it a try!

Our worship service consists of music varying in style. Our organist, Amanda, skillfully leads our congregation in song using hymns, psalms, and spiritual songs each week using the 38 rank W. Zimmer and Sons organ as well as the piano. Our choir presents anthems of a wide range of style that support the message and worship service. Frequently we utilize different musical instruments, soloists, and varying styles of hymnody to enhance our worship service and create worship experiences that bring the congregation to a more profound level of worship.

There are also many opportunities for fellowship with these groups throughout the year. You do not have to read music to be a part of these wonderful ministries in our church. We would love to have you. Let us know if you need child care.

1967 W. Zimmer and Sons Pipe Organ

We are blessed in worship each Sunday with the sound of our magnificent pipe organ. It is used to help lead our congregation in song, and is an important part of the worship service. In April, the congregation voted on a project to extensively renovate the current organ (38 ranks). This renovation is being completed by Lincoln Pipe Organs and will include the addition of 19 ranks. The project is anticipated to be completed by the end of 2024 and the completed organ will be 57 ranks.
